General Terms and Conditions

The female form is equal to the male form in the General Terms and Conditions; the male form was chosen merely for reasons of simplification.

1. Multiple cards

A multiple card entitles the acquirer to a certain number of course visits (5 tickets or similar) over a period of twelve months from the date of purchase. A termination is not possible. Multiple cards are not transferable. Unpaid course offers in the aforementioned period expire, a reimbursement of unperceived course offers is not made by mused Mosaik.

2. Membership

A membership entitles the member within the contractually agreed period against payment of a monthly membership fee for the use of the offer of mused Mosaik, which is defined in more detail in the membership contract. Memberships are not transferable. Memberships begin on the first or fifteenth of a calendar month.

2.2 Termination and membership fees

Memberships can be terminated by both parties with a notice period of two weeks to the end of a month. Failure to timely notice, the contract is automatically renewed from month to month.

The cancellation must be made in writing to the address of mused mosaik. The right of extraordinary termination remains unaffected (Section 3).

For memberships with a monthly payment method, the contributions are to be paid at the beginning of each month.

2.3 Extraordinary termination

The mutual right to extraordinary termination without observing a notice period remains unaffected if there is good cause. An important reason is e.g. incapacity to work on presentation of a medical certificate or a transfer of residence upon presentation of a certificate from the registration office if the new address is outside a radius of 50 km from the registered office of mused Mosaik.

2.4 Change of member’s membership relevant data

The member undertakes to notify all changes relevant to the membership (such as name, address, bank details, etc.) immediately in writing or by e-mail.

3. Workshops

3.1 Registration

You can register by phone, email or in person, giving your name, address and telephone number.

3.2 Payment

With the payment of the course fee and stating the course date and the name by transfer to my account within two weeks after registration or, if the registration takes place less than one month before the beginning of the course, within one week, the registration for the workshop is binding. If the payment is not made within this period, there is no entitlement to a course place.

3.3 Resignation of the workshop organizer

The workshop will only take place if at least 3 people register. The invoice will be sent approximately two weeks before the start of the seminar. After the seminar the participants will receive a confirmation of participation.

If the workshop has to be canceled by the organizer for an important reason (eg illness) (also at short notice), the full fee will be refunded. No further claims can be asserted.

3.4 Resignation of the workshop participant

With cancellation in written from 21 days before the start of the workshop, a cancellation fee of 50% of the participation fee will apply. With cancellation 7 days before the start of the workshop or later and in case of no-show of the participant, the full fee will be charged. Alternatively, a substitute participant can be named.

4. Insurance

Participation in a course is considered a personal, private pastime. No liability is accepted for accidents that occur at the venue or on the way there or back home. Protective glasses and gloves are available and must be used. Also for brought valuables no liability is assumed.

5. Change of course offer or opening hours

mused Mosaik reserves the right to change course offerings or opening times in a reasonable manner. This is especially true for maintenance and service.

Early announced company holidays of up to four weeks per year do not affect the terms of payment of the memberships.

6. Jurisdiction

The non-exclusive place of jurisdiction for all disputes arising from membership or in connection with multiple cards is Düsseldorf.
