To <a title=\"Emilie Baudrais\" href=\"http:\/\/www.mused-mosaik.de\/en\/2012\/07\/17\/mosaicista-upclose-emilie-baudrais\/\">Emilie<\/a>, her studio, lots of nice people inside and outside the citadel, the hospitable people here, the good food and wine.<\/p>\n<p>What I have experienced during these French weeks?<\/p>\n<p>I have<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>met extremely hospitable and funny people<\/li>\n<li><a title=\"Mosaic courses for children and adults\" href=\"http:\/\/www.mused-mosaik.de\/en\/2014\/09\/06\/mosaic-courses-for-children-and-adults\/\">given mosaic courses for children and adults<\/a><\/li>\n<li>made a lot of mosaic jewelry \u200b\u200bin all shapes<\/li>\n<li><a title=\"Commission for Babylon Mosaic: Mosaic table top with smalts and ceramics\" href=\"http:\/\/www.mused-mosaik.de\/en\/2014\/08\/04\/mosaic-tabletop-smalts-ceramics-babylon-mosaic\/\">created a diabolical mosaic table <\/a>(the base is still being welded, photos follow)<\/li>\n<li>started my work for <em>Musiva<\/em>, a school internal competition organized by the region<em> FriuliVeneziaGiulia<\/em><\/li>\n<li>drank delicious wine like\u00a0<em>C\u00f4tes de Blaye<\/em><\/li>\n<li>reached probably the highest fish consumption of my life in three months (including oysters and snails)<\/li>\n<li>fished shrimps in the Gironde (very impressive technology: cat food serves as a bait and gets crumbled and sticked firmly to the basket with the own food \u2013 oh, now I have betrayed the trick, maybe I&#8217;ll just end up as fish food myself) and eaten (steamed in anise and dill \u2013 delicious way to prepare it!)<\/li>\n<li>bought French rubber boots (if it rains like last winter in Spilimbergo at least I&#8217;m prepared)<\/li>\n<li>let myself drift in the Babylonian language chaos in Emilie&#8217;s studio and refreshed my French<\/li>\n<li>seen guinea fowls running around on my patio<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>and<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>went jogging through vineyards with charming ch\u00e2teaux<\/li>\n<li>woke up with a sunny sky nearly every day<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>I did not<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Learn surfing (but I will definitely next year!)<\/li>\n<li>explore the area well (we just had too many projects!)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>I think the first list should be continued and the second one checked off. Emilie and I have many ideas that will occupy me well this winter.
