Need a break from the digital world? From video calls, Miro and Trello boards? Do you want to get to know each other better as a team and grow together? Then I’ve got something for you: an event where you work together on a mosaic. New impulses for your collaboration guaranteed!
Let me take you on a journey. Into being creative and combining your skills. Into creating something concrete together: A mosaic, made by you as a team, that suits your style and spirit.
Procedure of a creative workshop with me

1) Briefing: This is how we start.
You give me as much input as possible (see questions for your mused mosaik team event below). Ideally, I’ll come to you for an introductory meeting or we’ll talk in a video call. This way I can get inspiration for your individual project design.
To ensure that your mosaic also matches the style of your company, I take into account your corporate and office design and materials on site. In addition to classic materials such as glass, ceramics and marble, you can also use seemingly worthless items such as plastic lids, bottle caps or screws. It is therefore worth checking where in your company something specific is regularly left over.
We will also discuss which rooms in your office are suitable for the workshop. Or whether you would prefer to get creative with me in a completely different location.
2) My offer: We are getting specific.
As soon as I have received your information, I will send you an offer that includes the costs for two drafts, all preparation and follow-up work on my side, the journey to your company, the workshop itself and the material costs.

3) Draft: Individually tailored to you.
In the next step, I consider which materials could work well for you and create two project drafts. Based on your favourite and the time you have available, there are two ways to your mosaic:
- You work with a template/motif that I have designed for you in advance.
- You create the template in a team (according to certain specifications from me) and then you design the surface.
The mosaic can be 2-dimensional (e.g. wall, table, individual framed works) or 3-dimensional (e.g. lamp, seating). Its size and nature depend on your available time frame and budget, which I will calculate for you.
At least 4 hours of pure working time should be available to you as a team. Due to the drying time of the glue, it may make sense to have lunch or another programme item in between. We will organise everything in advance.
4) Your practical part! Let’s start with your team event.
The day has finally come: your team event is starting. I will explain the material, technique and schedule to you and then we can get started. You can design your area in a team. To do this, everyone works on their own piece of mosaic, which we then combine with all the others to create a large area. If you would rather each have your own work, several small mosaics can of course also be created. I will find a suitable solution for you here too.
Just imagine that you are working on a large puzzle and each of you is putting together 100 pieces of it. Of course, I will come up with something so that you don’t run out of steam and everyone has fun! I will also incorporate creative techniques from typical team-building activities. So get ready for a colourful event!
The implementation varies from direct gluing to an underground to the indirect technique on a transfer foil. Let yourself be surprised by the variety of mosaics!
Depending on how much time you have, you can cut the material with the appropriate tools or stick pre-cut pieces on. Experience is not necessary because I will guide you through the entire process.

5) Completion: The result of your collaboration!
In any case, you will receive a finished mosaic that you can proudly present on site as the result of your workshop. If you are unable to be present during the finalisation due to a limited time frame, I will put the finishing touches to your mosaic.
In principle, anything can be made into a mosaic. A sculpture, a wall, even a sofa made of concrete.
Questions for your mused mosaik team event
What you should you clarify before you start planning an event with me:
- Should the mosaic be placed indoors or outdoors? Permanently or only for a certain period of time?
- How many employees/teams are involved?
- How much time do you have?
- What is your budget?
- What should the finished product be? A sculpture, a seating option, a wall, an exhibition of small mosaics, etc.?
- Should something specific be depicted (logo, pattern, person)?
- What is your corporate and interior design (colours, fonts, walls, furniture, etc.)?
- Is there an important date or occasion for which the product should be ready or the workshop should take place? A company anniversary, an onboarding or the kick-off for a project?
About me
I have organised many different workshops for large groups on behalf of museums, associations and companies.
Each time, I am thrilled by the energy that working on a joint mosaic releases and by the pride that all participants feel when they stand in front of the finished work. I love the goosebump-inducing moments of completion just as much as all the steps leading up to it, starting with the first draft.
